I am pleased to announce I have another round of changes to talk about...
MY SHOES
When I bought my shoes over a year ago I had to buy a size 9.5 wide. Right now I am having problems with my toes hurting after running because they are hitting the front of the shoe. My mom made a good point - she said that maybe my feet aren't as wide and now they are sliding to the front when I run. I haven't had much opportunity to check out that theory as I was sidelined from running a few days after she made the comment. I think she may be right though. I have tightened up the laces and I do notice a difference just in walking around.
MY BELT
I am officially on the last belt notch. And even that doesn't quite feel tight enough. LOVE IT!
MY HR MONITOR
It took three or four times of my hear rate not registering right before I realized that it was because I needed to tighten up my chest strap. This was probably the most exciting for me out of all the areas that are changing because it seems like that spot is the hardest to see any results.
MY BRAS
All my bras are too big. If only I had more money! Most are as tight as they can be but still, I don't think I have even one bra right now that fits me nicely. I am kind of a "bra snob" and can't just buy any bra from any store. I think I need to go to Lane Bryant and be fit again by one of their bra experts. I am a little worried that I'm not gonna have much left up top when I get to my goal weight!
MY SUNGLASSES
I know this one sounds funny, but it's true. I bought some shades from Lane Bryant last year. They used to hurt the sides of my head and the back of my ears. Now I can't hardly keep them on my face. I even checked the screws to see if they have been loosened up that way. They are as tight as ever. I need some new shades.

that is so cool that so many things have changed, no matter how small they are! I am so impressed, you are doing amazing!
I haven't noticed any physical changes, but I have changed my outlook on working out and that is great for me, I've never been able to stay motivated to do anything before.
Keep it up SIL!! :-)
Well, where do I begin. Believing in myself is the biggest thing I've learned. Not just thinking, but knowing that I can do it.
Congrats on the great changes, you never know how much you've changed until you sit back and reflect on it. I bet in the next few weeks, you'll find even more about yourself that was different since you started the blog!
Fabulous! Isn't it amazing how the little things add up to an overall change? Amazing!
The things that have changed since you've started this blog:
1. I feel closer to you because I'm able to read what you're going through and we "communicate" through the blog.
2. I would never have committed to do a run before because I'd be scared of being a wimp and not doing well. You've challenged me to step out of that comfort zone.
3. I've started running again. It's not much running, but it's more than what I used to do. The running keeps me going strong all day.
4. I hated crunches and never did them until you challenged me (us, your readers). I haven't noticed a physical difference, but Michael has!
5. My overall attitude has improved. Probably from the running and releasing those "feel good" enzymes. But I feel better about myself and you can't put a price on that.
6. I've grown spiritually by reading your blog because it allows me to know how to pray for you, something that I needed to work on.
I love you!
Hey Michelle.. I did my training last night
Michelle, all those changes are fabulous! I have also noticed in changes in places I have not seen changes EVER. In Oprah arm area!! And in my inner thighs! I don't even know what I am doing, but if it wants to come off, then I ain't complaining. Have a great day, its beautiful out there today. I Hope it stays that way! Hugs.
Let's see I think the biggest thing about your blog that has effected me the most is the fact that you have this blog, without your idea and inspiration on it I would have never thought to do one for myself and my journey.
Also, the timimg of the training for the July 12th race came at the perfect time. Although I can't train to the full extent just yet It has helped me allot with my motivation to get walking and has forced me out of the house for awhile and do something, not to mention my dog is getting extra exercise. (he needs it)
I also love the fact that we can relate to each other so well on the emotional aspects of losing weight and being former overweight people. (at least you are former right now and I am soon to follow)It helps to have the support of someone who knows the battles.
Congrats on the new changes coming your way .. Love Ya MEchele
Hey SIRL (Sister In Real Life)
Honestly, I cant really think of anything that has changed so far. I guess Ive gotten a little back on track to what I was doing last year, but other than that, I havent been extremely happy with anything, but Im being patient with it. Ill keep you updated.
PS. Im taking a day off from running today, so you can expect a training day tomorrow :)
Michelle I am s proud of you! Sometimes I feel like I have no motivation, and when I read your blogs I feel someone understands me. I am joining curves next week to see how that pans out. (I am waiting for furniture delivery this week). TTYL
Angie
