Whew!
Just got back from getting my train on!
It was a nice, cool, cloudy morning - my favorite kind of summer morning to run.
Special thanks to my hubby, who did a great job of motivating my lazy behind and getting me out the door. I sounded like a whiny high school kid..."Just five more minutes!!!"
A few of you seem to be slacking a little when it comes to getting your train on. You had a lot of momentum at the beginning and a few are tapering off a little.
Don't come this far and give up!
There are only about 2.5 weeks left of the training. I KNOW you can DO IT!
I'd like to give a quick shout out to Anne who started getting her train on two weeks ago. She says she is amazed at how it really does get easier to run if you just stick with it. YAY ANNE!
Take a moment to review the goals set for yourself. How are you doing with them?
*Pause for a Milestone Moment*
Can you believe this is my 100th blog?????

Way to go LaVonda for finished 13th in her age group!

Me and the girls are very proud of what you have accomplished. You are the best mom and wife we could possibly ask for. We ♥ you.
Ok Chelle, I'm sorry about my training sluff off. :) After my surgery (3 weeks ago today!) I was having some issues with the cut in my belly button and used that as my excuse to not train.
I guess it really doesn't help that I am going through h to the e to the double hockey sticks lately. How is it that I'm going through a depression state now when I should have been as she was sick 8 months ago? Its to the point where I can't even stand going to her doctor's appointments anymore, I just cry afterwards, good or bad news. But the training seems to keep my mind focused, so I'll get into the groove!!!!
Sincerely,
Looking for a miracle
Michelle, I'm proud of you too! I've failed at making adequate goals and "getting motivated" -- so, maybe after VBS (always an excuse, right?) I'll make better goals which include exercise and eating healthier!
Love ya, Denise S.
Yay! You went on a morning run! Please share if you've noticed a difference in your day from doing it in the morning. I, too, was going to run this morning. Except... all three of us slept in this morning. Barely had time to get to work on time as it was- ha!
Sorry I didn't get on yesterday's blog. I liked the comments you chose!
I'm also guilty of slowing down my training. I haven't trained all three days every week. But I wouldn't have done any if it weren't for your encouragement.
Congrats on your 100th blog AND for ranking #20! You totally rock!
Have a great weekend! I'm definitely going to be getting the other two days of training this weekend at the campsite. I'm so excited!
