I GOT MY TRAIN ON LAST NIGHT!
I got sweaty and sticky and stinky and out of breath and I LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT!
I have only ran outside maybe twice since my injury. I am running a 5K on Saturday morning and I knew I needed to get out and see what the old legs could do on the pavement. I struggled a little bit with side stitches (proper hydration is key, people!) but no knee pain!
Of course, this makes me very, VERY happy!
I am beginning to feel like hot stuff when I run. I actually wore shorts yesterday. Man, what a difference it makes as far as keeping me feeling cool. I need to get myself some spandex style shorts to wear under them though. I think I smelled a little bacon while running!

I wish I could get up at 6 a.m. and get it over with before the heat of the day like some people *points vigorously at Leigh* but my hubby leaves before 5 a.m. Even if he was home I can probably bet I would not get up and do it.
