My Dearest Lane Bryant,
It saddens me to have to write this letter to you. How do you say goodbye to the one who stood by you at your fattest hour? How do you leave the only one who continued to wrap their stylish, loving threads around you when no other store would?
I guess I'll just have to say 'thanks'.
Thanks for employing women who looked like me and always made me feel comfortable.
Thanks for knowing and embracing that style is not about size.
Thanks for all the coupons, sales, and discounts you provided when I didn't really have the money.
Thanks for catering not only to the plus size girl, but the petite plus size girl.
Thanks for making under garments that made me feel sexy, no matter what size I was.
My departure from you is bittersweet. I know good things are waiting for me outside of your world. I only hope others are as kind to me as you were.
I will still see you from time to time in passing and will always remember our good times. I know it will be hard but please, don't call out to me as I walk by. I am afraid I will not be returning to you ever again.
I'll miss you, my friend.
Love,
Me

I love this blog! Are you back or what? LOL.
Ha! I love it! You bet you're never going back!!!
Oh how great you must have felt to write this blog. I myself was in Lane Bryant just this past Saturday thinking about when I am going to be able to say goodbye to that store.
Great Job and you look FANTASTIC!!
HAHA!!
Send the coupons my way!!! LOL
I'm thrilled to read today's blog from you! Michelle is BACK!! You are awesome! Thanks for making me smile Love ya, Denise S.
Wow, I lurve this blog. I went into Lane Bryant the other day to give a way free Chick-Fil-A and I was so encouraged to see normal looking women in there and they were so fun! Ebony the manager was awesome! I am so proud of you!! And our dinner with you all really challenged me to do some things differently this week in our eating. I am cutting out most sugar this week, not all, but a lot! I thought I had done that, but I don't think I was trying hard enough. I hope there will be some results from it though, I am tired of disappointments each week. Love ya!
I'm sorry you'll have to find a new place to shop, but what a great reason! This thought may help comfort you as you find new stores you like: you will soon be able to pick something you like off the rack and not have to try it on and inspect the fit from every angle before you can purchase it.
Keep up the hard work, Anne
